Dana Paz Shaked
Dana Shaked, married and a mom of 2 boys, began her journey as a professional dancer and dance teacher. At 27, she decided to step away from the physically demanding world of dance and sought a path that balanced her expertise in movement with a lifestyle better suited for family.
She pursued studies in Pilates, group and personal fitness training, nutrition, core, stretching, and posture and injury rehabilitation. What began as a career shift turned into a breakthrough.
Dana excelled in physical rehabilitation, managing fitness studios and working with injured veterans, as well as individuals with posture misalignment, chronic pain, and physical injuries. Dana specializes in functional Pilates, blending classical techniques with therapeutic movement inspired by her dance background.
Along with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Dana holds eight certificates in the fitness field, including specialized training in rehab mat & reformer Pilates, with a total of 750 hours of hands-on training with variety of physical injuries and conditions.
Her method emphasizes posture, joint mobility, strength, and resilience, promoting long-term health and well-being.
